Hi, friend! I’m Caity, a queer wedding photographer calling the state of Maryland home! I’m so glad you’re here and excited to learn!

As a wedding photographer, you already know the power of capturing love in all its beautiful forms. But it’s not just about taking photos—it’s about creating an experience where every couple feels seen, respected, and celebrated. That’s where inclusivity comes in, and I’m passionate about helping you make your business a welcoming space for everyone, especially LGBTQ+ marriers.

As an out and proud lesbian woman, I’ve walked the path of wanting to be truly seen, understood, and respected. These personal experiences have fueled my commitment to ensuring that no one feels like they have to hide or compromise who they are—especially on one of the most important days of their lives.

I’ve had the privilege of photographing a diverse range of couples, and I’ve learned that while love is universal, the way it’s expressed and celebrated can be deeply personal. For many LGBTQ+ couples, wedding planning can be a journey of navigating spaces that don’t always feel welcoming. That’s why I’ve decided to offer these resources—to help you become an ally in creating a more inclusive and representative wedding industry.

I believe that growth comes from respectful conversations in safe, judgment-free spaces. If you have questions about LGBTQ+ inclusivity and representation in the wedding industry, I’m here to help. Below, you’ll find a form where you can submit your questions anonymously. I’ll be answering them on my Instagram stories every now and then. My hope is to foster meaningful discussions and amplify queer voices in our industry along the way!

While I’m committed to answering your questions to the best of my ability, please understand that I can only speak from my own experiences and research. This is just the beginning—I encourage you to continue your journey by engaging with queer voices in your own circles, both personally and professionally.

Hate, spam, and disrespect have no place here and will be removed immediately. I also reserve the right to decline questions that I don’t feel equipped to answer or that might be too personal or triggering for me or the queer community.
