It’s not often that I photograph families, but when I do, it is for super sweet crews like this one! I actually met the M. family a little over a year ago when their sweet daughter was born, and when I received an email asking if I would be available for updated family portraits, I was so incredibly honored!
We’ve been planning their session for a few months now (If you want to get a photographer in October, this is the only way to do it, y’all!!), and when I originally asked Jeana what she hoped to capture with their session, she sent me the following:
“I want to remember that although this season of life is chaotic with little ones, there is so much love between us. I want to remember the fun and loving part of all the chaos!”
There is no doubt in my mind that this family loves each other something fierce. They are some of the kindest and most down to earth people that I’ve ever met, and goodness, their kids are cute! We chased each other around and around, fed ducks, had silly face contests, blew bubbles, and had the best time! I just love when clients forget about the need to get THE shot, and instead are down to have fun together! Not only does this help to create some super sweet memories, but oftentimes, some of the best shots come from those in-between moments. It was so sweet to see how much these two kiddos have grown since I’ve seen them last, but it was even sweeter to see how well this family of four loves each other!
