Sarah is one of the sweet souls that I was lucky enough to meet through our local chapter of Tuesdays Together. We’ve spent quite a few Tuesday mornings over the last couple of years, chatting through the highs and lows that come with life as a small business owner. (To learn more about what Sarah does through her business, Love & Spreadsheets… click here!!) I vividly remember receiving Sarah’s inquiry email a few months ago, letting me know that she was ENGAGED and planning to marry the love of her life, Caleb! You better bet that I was squealing and happy dancing my way all around my room for my sweet friend.
I got to meet Sarah’s special guy, Caleb, at their engagement session, and right away, I was struck by how JOYFUL Sarah is with Caleb by her side. She has an extra bounce in her step and light in her eye, and you can really see how comfortable these two are with each other. They complete each other in the sweetest way. Sarah and Caleb share so many things too… their faith, their love of books and words which was reflected throughout their wedding day decor, and their excitement when in the other’s presence, but even more than that, you can tell that they have such a solid foundation and share something so incredibly special as a couple. It was such an honor to document this sweet chapter in their love story, and I can’t wait to see where life takes these two!
Now… fast forward to the morning of Sarah & Caleb’s wedding day, Savannah and I arrived to where the girls were getting ready. From the moment we arrived to the moment we gave goodbye hugs, it was so evident that these two are loved so well by so, so many people. Their gorgeous wedding day in Northern Virginia was so thoughtfully planned to include and honor so many people that have played a role in their story together. So many happy tears were shed, so many hugs given, and so many people came together to celebrate these two and the start of this brand new chapter in their lives.
I can’t wait for you to get a sneak peek into this gorgeous wedding day!
Sarah designed their stationery by hand! Can we talk about GORGEOUS?! Sarah… you are one STUNNING bride! So much JOY from Sarah’s sweet sisters all day long! First look with the ladies!!! So sweet! Reading a letter from her sweet groom… First look with dad just before we departed to meet up with Caleb… so many sweet feels. Savannah was with the guys as they were getting ready! Pre-first look feels… … and the sweetest reaction from Caleb! Time for portraits! Y’all… we were finished with 95% of Sarah & Caleb’s couples, family and wedding party portraits BEFORE their ceremony! It was a DREAM and made the biggest difference post-ceremony. One of my faves! This gorgeous winter GLOW! Just a few more hours and these two would officially be husband and WIFE! I feel like now is a great time to remind you that it was under 40 degrees as we took all of these photos! I mean talk about good friends… thankful for this rockstar wedding party! This ring bearer was the BEST! He kept us all laughing all day long! The loveliest group of ladies! Time to get these cuties MARRIED! Sarah and Caleb opted to write their own vows. It was so sweet to continue to learn about these two and their relationship during their ceremony. OFFICIAL! Now… time to celebrate! Sarah has been searching for the unnumbered collection of The Chronicles of Narnia… well, these two had stacks of books placed in the center of each table. After a few days of Internet searching, Caleb found just that. He surprised Sarah with the full collection on their sweetheart table at their reception. What an incredibly sweet and thoughtful wedding day gift! First dance feels… These two were baking cinnamon buns just before Caleb proposed to Sarah. It was only fitting that these two share a homemade cinnamon bun, instead of cake during their reception (especially because they were serving breakfast for dinner!!). A huge thank you to these two for having me & Savannah along to photograph their day. Congratulations, Sarah and Caleb!
A special thank you to the team that made Sarah and Caleb’s day so special:
