I’ve been looking forward to getting these two on the blog for a WHILE now, and today is FINALLY the day that you get to meet Priya and Neal! I’ve known Priya since our time at Penn State and just loved meeting up with her and her man for their engagement session. It is always so special to me when I have the opportunity to photograph milestones for sweet friends of mine, and this morning was no different!
Priya and Neal met briefly at a lounge in DC where they exchanged numbers. It didn’t take long for Neal to ask Priya out on their first date, and from there, you could say the rest is history! When these two were on a trip to Paris, they visited the Eiffel Tower and decided to visit a particular bridge on their way out. When they got there, they found a gorgeous view of the Eiffel Tower and water. Neal mentioned he wanted to spend moments just like that one with Priya for the rest of their lives. From there, she turned around to find him on one knee! You might of guessed, but Priya said YES!! You better bet they celebrated with champagne and celebratory calls to their family!
We were up EARLY for their session (If you know how early the sunrise is during the summer… you’ll really appreciate these two and their dedication to getting gorgeous engagement session images!!), but you never would have guessed with these two! They were bright and giggly and excited right from the get-go! We had SO much fun touring around Old Town Alexandria before the world woke up! This is always one of my favorite places to work, and I just loved experiencing the waterfront and cute side streets with them.
