Shelby and Keon | A Sunset Spring Engagement Session in Georgetown, Washington, DC

What do you get when you put two stunning people in one of the cutest, most charming neighborhoods in DC while the entire world is in bloom? THIS right here is what you get! Oh my goodness, when I say I must have looked like the heart eye emoji for the entirety of Shelby and Keon’s engagement session in Georgetown, I’m not kidding!

I got to meet these two on one of the most perfect spring evenings we’ve had all year, and together, we made some kind of magic happen! Before I get too far into this post, I have to give these two a major shoutout: we covered some SERIOUS ground during their session— I’m not sure how far we must have walked during their session, but I finished the day with almost 12K steps which means we definitely covered at least 8K steps worth of ground in NW DC! We found SO many amazing street corners + blooms— thank you, Shelby and Keon, for exploring so much of Georgetown with me!

Now… a little more about these two! You can tell that Shelby and Keon have a deep understanding of each other… they fall easily into the other’s arms, can communicate with just a glance, and just so happened to share their first date 4 years ago in Georgetown! Keon loves that Shelby is beautiful inside and out. She has an incredibly kind heart which is echoed by her sweet personality, great sense of humor, and overall fun demeanor. Shelby loves that Keon is super dedicated to whatever he wants in life— from relationships to goals, he gives it his all in everything he does. He never fails to show her love when they are home, enjoying plenty of quality time together.
