Nicole and Dylan | A Colorful, Story-Inspired Aldie Mansion Wedding in Doylestown, PA

OOPS, I did it again… Totally oversharing on sneaks from this gorgeous day, but once you get to scrolling you’ll understand why! Not only was this colorful wedding day beyond gorgeous, Nicole and Dylan have been waiting SO long for their big wedding day. I can’t speak for them, but as their photographer, when I say that it was the biggest and brightest celebration worth waiting for, I’m not lying! Their guests have had a few years (and a global pandemic) to get excited for this party, and they certainly showed up to celebrate! (more on that in a minute!)

I’ve been working with Nicole and Dylan for a few years now, photographing their engagement session in 2019, their intimate ceremony in 2020, and in 2021, just about a year to their original wedding date, we got to celebrate with all of their nearest and dearest at Aldie Mansion for their BIG wedding day! Each second with them is an absolute joy… They are one of the sweetest, most balanced couples who surround themselves with the best kinds of people. They love to laugh, support each other through thick and thin, and know how to have a great time together. It is rare that I get to see a couple’s family and friends more than once a year, but with these two, their families welcomed me into their lives and celebrations, just months apart! It was such a joy and an honor to photograph not one but two monumental days for Nicole, Dylan, and their families.

Their big wedding day was HOT… I think the high was just around 95 degrees in the sun, with not a cloud in the sky. I’m so grateful though… Nicole and Dylan took it all in stride and so did their wedding party! I loved their colorful details and bright florals almost as much as I loved their kind and joyful wedding party… I think their wedding party wins though! Everyone was just so GRATEFUL to be able to be together, celebrating Nicole and Dylan, after the last year we’ve all had. I felt a wash of relief, gratitude, and excitement as they shared their personal vows at their ceremony, finally getting to declare their love in front of all of their favorite people. They waited so long for this moment, and it was such a joy to witness! There was so much GOOD on their wedding day, but I think one of my favorite moments was seeing just how excited their people were to celebrate. The dance floor was full and bumpin’, all night long— Gypsy Wisdom really kept things going! Nicole, Dylan, and their guests waited patiently for this celebration, and it was so much fun to see just how excited everyone was for it to be there, dance moves, cheers-ing, happy tears, and all!

The sweetest first look with Nicole’s Bridesmaids! Nicole waited YEARS to wear this dress… just look how stunning she looks! It was a JOY to photograph her as a bride not once, but twice! Anyone else also obsessed with Nicole’s colorful bouquet?! It was HOT but these two powered through some gorgeous portraits… so grateful! One of my faves for sure! Greeting their guests! Everyone was SO excited to celebrate these two! We snuck off for sunset portraits, just after their parent dances, and oh my goodness, it was MAGIC! My second shooter, Taliya got that one on the right by photographing through Nicole’s bouquet! I’m obsessed! I love the way these two look at each other! Back to the party for cake cutting! It has been a minute since I’ve let myself have this much fun on a dance floor! Everyone was SO excited to celebrate Nicole and Dylan. Gypsy Wisdom kept everyone dancing! Thank you, Nicole and Dylan!
