This sweet group of gals were the absolute best to work with— I can’t thank them enough for their flexibility OR willingness to get ready two days in a row!
Leading up to their session, I was watching the weather like a hawk. I saw there was a slight chance of rain in the forecast, but after checking four apps, the chance of rain didn’t seem high enough to postpone their session. I knew they were graduating in a few days, so I wanted to make sure we were able to get things knocked out on time for them! Well… come session time, I parked my car near Patterson Park and looked up to see the biggest teal thunderstorm cloud which… if you know summer weather, means a storm is sure to arrive within the hour. My heart sank!
We decided to get as much done as we could at Patterson Park, but things were blowing in fast. After checking the forecast again, we raced down to the waterfront to try to wrap things up. When we got there, we could tell the storm was just moments away! Lightning and thunder were starting to crash and the wind was pretty crazy. We ended up calling things, and thankfully, these gals had the flexibility to meet up again in the morning on the waterfront in Fells! I already had plans to meet up with Jess with her sweet pup on the Hopkins hospital campus, so we were able to sync up with the other girls in the group right after! PHEW! It all worked out perfectly, and thank goodness it did because the waterfront photos are some of my favorite from our time together!
Calla, Jess, and Sean graduated this week with their MSN from Hopkins! It was such a joy to spend time with them two days in a row, and I’m so so excited to see all the good they do with their brand new degrees. Here are a few favorite frames from our time together!
Congratulations, Calla, Jess, and Sean!
I am obsessed with Calla’s fun and colorful dress! Gah so gorgeous, Jess! Sean’s joy can’t help but make you smile! I was determined to make waterfront portraits happen for these ladies! SO grateful for their flexibility! Before heading to the waterfront, Jess and I started on the Hopkins hospital campus for some sweet photos of her in her grad attire and with her pup!
