Lauren and Mike | Philadelphia Cricket Club Wedding

This wedding day was so sweet and special that, by the time I got home, my cheeks were killing me— in the best way, of course! I don’t think any of us stopped smiling for a minute. Lauren and Mike have been waiting patiently to become husband and wife for over two years now and have been together for over 10. To say that they and their friends and family were ready to celebrate their marriage would be the biggest understatement— their day was filled with joy, laughter, so many happy tears, and only the best dance moves come party time!

Rolling up to The Philadelphia Cricket Club, we had pouring rain. My mind was racing, trying to figure out a way to get these two the gorgeous, outdoor portraits they’ve been dreaming of for YEARS. As we rolled through getting ready, the rain kept coming… pouring down sideways. Fortunately, Philadelphia Cricket Club doesn’t have a bad angle, inside or out! We had a great backup in place if the rain continued, but then suddenly, moments before Lauren and Mike’s first look, the rain cleared and stayed away for ALL of our outdoor portraits. My jaw literally dropped! Mother Nature must have known we had some gorgeous photos to take and cooperated, dropping temps and humidity tremendously after the rain! Lauren and Mike’s original wedding day was set for October 2020, and it *almost* felt like fall during our second set of portraits! I couldn’t believe it but was so so grateful we got these two, their wedding party, and their fam outside!

There are so many reasons their wedding day was special, but truly, it was the people that made it so sweet. Their toasts were some of the kindest and most genuine I’ve heard, their wedding party was the best blend of fun and helpful, and their dance floor was one for the books for sure! I can’t wait for you to get a glimpse at their stunning floral setup at their ceremony OR the way the space transformed into their gorgeous reception hall! Their day was elegant, romantic, joyful, and absolutely STUNNING! It was a treat to see their vision, years in the making, come together in the most beautiful way.

These two are off enjoying married life on their honeymoon, but I couldn’t help but to share a few of my favorite frames from their wedding day! Enjoy!

My favorite bathroom, ever! I wish I could put PCC’s bathroom in my own home!  The sweetest first look with her bridesmaids! And such a special moment with Dad! I just love these two! Moment of silence for these florals and these cross-back chairs— just gorgeous! MARRIED! Their joy says it all!  Party time! You know It was a good day when you’re sad to give those final hugs! Congratulations, Lauren and Mike! It has been such a joy to spend this season with you!
