They often say to save the best for last, and I think that’s just what I did for 2021! Katie and Chris were my last engagement session for 2021 and were truly such a treat to work with. These two are the sweetest souls, their joy is contagious, and I love how much they love to laugh. We had so much fun touring Penn State just before the holidays kicked off, reminiscing on our times on campus, crazy Penn State marketing campaigns (Looking at you, “Penn State Lives Here”), and all of their wedding plans for later this year. Somehow, we got a decently warm winter day which is SO rare in State College in December— we were all so grateful!
Katie and Chris have been together since 2014, meeting through their THON Rules and Regulations Committee in the Sackett building (Which we were sure to visit during our time together!). Chris loves how passionate Katie is about so many things and that she pushes him to be his absolute best. He also loves how curious she is and the way her face lights up as she laughs. Katie loves that Chris’s silly and playful spirit— he always knows how to make her laugh. He is incredibly supportive, encouraging her to be the best. She loves that they are able to share their own individual interests with each other. As a couple, they are so easygoing, genuine, and kind— it is truly such a treat to be able to spend time with them! Chris asked Katie to be his wife on the beaches of North Carolina, surprising her in just the sweetest way one day while they were out on a walk!
I’m SO looking forward to celebrating these two in July of this year! Shall we dive into the first engagement session recap of 2022?!
Four years on campus, and I never realized how Boston the library feels!
AHH I love how Christmas-y this feels!
