We’re continuing the recap of engagement session season with one of the sweetest couples around! Y’all… meet Allie and Taylor! Their Longwood Gardens engagement session was truly what dreams are made of! (Raise your hand if you’re singing the viral TikTok audio with me right now!) I was lucky enough to meet Allie at a wedding last year where she was a bridesmaid (Hi, Lauren and Mike!) and was so excited and honored when she sent me her own wedding inquiry a few months back!
Fun fact: Taylor was actually Allie’s first boyfriend in high school! They dated and went to a few dances and prom together. While they went separate ways after high school, they later reconnected through mutual friends while she was home for summer break after her sophomore year of college. The rest was history! Taylor proposed to Allie with the help of their son a few years after they reconnected, and soon, these two will be saying I Do! (I can’t wait!)
Taylor loves how headstrong Allie is and how she is always pushing him to be his best. Allie loves that Taylor keeps her down to earth and that he is always keeping life fun and bringing peace when Allie is stressed. This was so evident during their session! I’m not sure I’ve ever laughed more— I just love how relaxed these two are with each other and how much fun they have together as a couple.
Our session was on the very first day of spring, and I remember crossing my fingers and toes that we would have a warm, gorgeous afternoon! While the skies were beautiful, the temperatures weren’t quite as warm as we wanted them to be! These two were literal champs, rocking their way through 45-degree temps when we were outside. Thankfully, the Conservatory at Longwood was warm and in full bloom, making the perfect backdrop for their engagement session when we needed to warm up from the chill outside!
