These two drove a few hours to squeeze in their engagement session just before they had a long weekend of weddings! I met up with Erin and Ryan a few months ago at Sherwood Gardens for their engagement session, and I think I may have just found a new favorite local park! Their original engagement session date was rained out (More than once if I’m remembering correctly!), so I’m so glad that they had a chance to get together even when they had such a busy weekend!
We had a perfectly warm and golden early summer day in Sherwood Gardens, and when I say these two made my job easy, I’m not kidding! They are naturals in front of the camera.
Erin and Ryan met in high school and have been together for over 9 years! Next year will make 10… Getting married is a pretty epic way to celebrate that milestone if you ask me! They have been each other’s rock and best friend for years, and you can see just how much they understand each other when you are with them! They can communicate with just a glance, and their smiles are a little brighter when they are looking into each other’s eyes.
I always love asking my couples what they love most about each other as I’m getting to know them, and Ryan said: She’s truly my best friend, and I can trust her with anything. Erin said: He’s incredibly loving and reminds me how much he loves me everyday. It is so sweet to see these sentiments play out in reality— these two are more than perfect for each other and soon, they’ll be husband and wife!
We met up in Sherwood Gardens for their engagement session back on a gorgeous afternoon back in June where we explored the gardens and surrounding neighborhood streets which felt a little more like Charleston than they did Baltimore! We laughed and twirled and talked about everything these two have in the works with wedding planning.
Enjoy a sneak peek into Erin and Ryan’s Sherwood Gardens engagement session. I’m SO looking forward to their wedding day at Philadelphia Cricket Club next June!
These two are the sweetest!
One of my FAVES!
How gorgeous is Erin’s ring?!
