I’ve been dreaming of photographing a Fells Point engagement session on the waterfront for a few years now, and just a few months ago, Erica and Arnie made this photographer’s dreams a reality! WOW we had the most beautiful late summer morning for engagement photos! I met Erica and Arnie on Broadway Pier just before sunrise, and our morning couldn’t have been more perfect! While the sky was cloudy to start, that made the skyline and water views pop a little extra…and you better bet that I was squealing like crazy when the summer glow made an appearance every so often throughout our time together. From Broadway Pier, we moved on over towards Henderson’s Wharf before finishing at Erica and Arnie’s home with their sweet golden, Hooper! (PS following him on Tiktok is an absolute must… you can thank me later!)
Though they now live in Fells, Erica says that she and Arnie have the classic Fed Hill love story! They met playing Volo Sports dodgeball after being introduced through mutual friends! They got to know each other throughout the season, and the rest was history! Arnie asked Erica to marry him on the beach in Erica’s hometown over the winter. She’s from Erie, PA, and it was one of the coldest days of the year. Hooper was also there to witness such a special moment!
Arnie loves that Erica is a fun, happy, and energetic person. He had always hoped that he would spend forever with someone that he could have fun doing anything with, and that is exactly what he has found in Erica. Erica loves Arnie’s kindness, saying he always puts others before himself. He is a gentle soul and Erica’s perfect partner! Their dog, Hooper, is the center of their world, and for a good reason! He is literally the cutest, snuggliest golden retriever I’ve ever met! He was such a good boy throughout our time together.
Erica and Arnie’s Fells Point engagement session was one for the books!
These two are so easy to spend time with. During their session, they were so go with the flow and down for anything! I swear we covered half of Fells Point’s waterfront on foot (Worth it!) all before 8AM, and these two were champs through it all. I actually know Erica from my days coaching Orangetheory, though we for sure crossed paths a few times at Penn State through our mutual involvement in a few student organizations. Having the opportunity to photograph such a special season for her and Arnie means more than I can say! I was already counting down the days to their 2023 Baltimore wedding day, but their engagement session has me even more excited!
