Cailey’s graduation portrait session at the Baltimore County Historic Courthouse was a celebration of her achievements at Maryland’s Law School and a glimpse into her promising future in the legal field. Accompanied by her boyfriend and their adorable pup, Murph, Cailey’s session captured the essence of her journey and aspirations.
The Baltimore County Historic Courthouse provided a unique and fitting backdrop for Cailey’s graduation session. It was the first time I had the pleasure of shooting at this historic location, and it offered a perfect blend of ambiance and elegance to showcase Cailey’s accomplishments. The courthouse not only reflected her degree but also honored her future working in court!
One of the highlights of photographing her session at the courthouse was the privacy and exclusivity it offered.
Unlike the bustling college campuses during graduation season, we had the place almost entirely to ourselves. This added an intimate touch to the session, allowing Cailey to shine without distractions. It’s amazing how getting creative with location can elevate the overall experience and result in truly exceptional photographs. It really pays to get creative with your session location!
Despite a surprise appearance by some clouds and rain during the initial part of the session, Cailey and her boyfriend, Drew, were troopers. We took advantage of the covered area near the courthouse steps, capturing some of my favorite images against the backdrop of grand columns and checkered marble tile.
As the weather cleared up, we ventured beyond the covered porch to explore the courthouse gardens and bask in the gorgeous golden hour glow. It was the PERFECT way to finish an already amazing session!
