It’s time for another exciting blog post! Meet Brittany, a recent graduate from the University of Baltimore Law School and a newly sworn-in lawyer! She’s not just any lawyer, though – she’s one of the most badass women I know. Brittany’s journey to success has been nothing short of inspiring, and I can’t wait to share a snippet of her story with you as we recap her grad session on the National Mall.
Brittany’s determination and work ethic are awe-inspiring.
While pursuing her law degree at the University of Baltimore, she also worked full-time during the day. Imagine racing to campus after a long day of meetings and emails, ready to tackle classes, exams, and study sessions. It was a hectic season for her, but she powered through with unwavering dedication. Just when I started to get excited that the end was near for her as we photographed her grad session, Brittany informed me that she still had one more hurdle to overcome – the Bar Exam.
Fast forward past graduation…
… and Brittany found herself in full Bar prep mode. Studying for the Bar Exam is no small feat, but Brittany didn’t let it deter her. Even during this intense period, she made time for self-care and fitness by becoming a regular at The Bar Method in Locust Point, where I happen to be an instructor. I couldn’t help but be impressed by her commitment to both her studies and her mental and physical well-being as I watched her check in for dozens of classes! (Plus, it has been a BLAST to stay in touch long past her session this past May!)
A little spoiler before I get to the full session recap… A few weeks ago, after one of our classes, Brittany shared some incredible news with me – she passed the Bar Exam! You better bet the entire studio lobby erupted in cheers, celebrating her well-deserved success. But let me tell you, her passing was no surprise to anyone who knows her. Brittany is not only brilliant but also fiercely dedicated to her goals. She stops at nothing to make her dreams a reality!
To commemorate Brittany’s achievements and future adventures, she booked a special grad session on the iconic National Mall.
The morning of the session was an early start for all of us, but the breathtaking light and stunning views made it all worth it. Brittany brought along her study buddy and beloved pup, Max, who deserves an honorary degree from UB Law, in my opinion. Her parents even traveled from the Carolinas to be a part of this special celebration. The pride they feel for their daughter is evident in every glance they share!
She channeled her inner Elle Woods as we popped champagne and explored all of the iconic views that Lincoln has to offer. I am SO grateful that she took a morning out of her packed schedule to celebrate her amazing accomplishments. Not only was our time together a blast, but I absolutely loved seeing just how joyful Brittany was in front of the camera as one chapter closed and a new and exciting adventure began!
Brittany’s journey serves as a reminder to all of us that hard work, resilience, and a positive mindset can lead to incredible achievements.
She has proven that it’s possible to balance a demanding career, your education, and personal wellness successfully. Her grad portraits on the National Mall is just a small glimpse into the bright and joyful future that awaits Brittany. As she embarks on her legal career, I have no doubt that she will continue to make waves and inspire others along the way!
