Kaitlyn & Brad | A Classic, Summer, Annapolis Waterfront Wedding

I’ve been looking forward to celebrating these two on their wedding day for a long time, and it certainly didn’t disappoint! I first met Kaitlyn and Brad for their engagement session in Charlottesville, VA back in AUGUST, and even before that, I knew that their day would be one for the books! I met Kaitlyn in college and was immediately struck by her bubbly and vibrant personality. After meeting Brad for the first time at their engagement session, I knew he was the perfect complement to her. They have such a sweet relationship AND… they’re Penn Staters! Anytime I get to hang with a Penn State couple, I know I am in for a good time!

After doing a little bit of scrolling, I don’t think anyone will be shocked to find out that Kaitlyn LOVES the color purple, but you may be surprised to know just how much love and time she put into the details of her day! From the hair pieces she made by hand for herself, mom & bridesmaids to the bouquets that her and her bridesmaids handcrafted themselves, she poured so much of her heart and soul into this day. And that’s just the tip of the ice burg! (She did so much more too!) I just loved seeing everything come together and the smiles on her and Brad’s faces throughout the day!

Their whirlwind of a summer celebration was spent with their closest friends and family at Annapolis Waterfront Hotel with the most stunning waterfront views. From their kind & helpful wedding party (that kept everyone safe while crossing the street to various portrait locations!!), to their sweet & caring family members, I was so touched to see just how loved these two truly are. Kaitlyn & Brad’s day was so very special, and I cannot wait for you to get a sneak peek at all of the pretty! Their waterfront portraits are some of my favorites!!

That RING! Good work, Brad! Time to get this girl in her gown! All the gals! Pre-ceremony bridals down on the docks! Kaitlyn, girl, you are STUNNING! GIRL… those eyes! Such a classic & stunning bride! Time for Kaitlyn’s first look with her dad! These are always the sweetest moments. Brad’s parents were so excited to help him get ready! That’s one dapper groom! This group of girls was SO helpful all day long! Kaitlyn and her bridesmaids made these bouquets!! I’m so impressed! Now for the guys! The full crew looking good! Now… just wait until you see their ceremony VIEWS! Brad was just a little bit excited to be MARRIED! Officially husband and wife… … and celebrated by everyone!! Time for portraits around town! So much joy from these two! One of my favorites! Back to their venue for the party! These two know how to put together a dessert table! They let me steal them for some evening portraits on the docks just outside, and y’all… IT WAS MAGIC! These two!! The PERFECT dress for twirling!
