Sarah | A Mount Vernon, Baltimore Headshot Session

This headshot session is extra special! I know Sarah through OTF (and am hopeful we’ll be able to work together for a few weddings this year!!). Sarah is an incredibly talented photographer, and it had been a while since her headshots were updated. With a few life changes + new goals and intentions, she wanted a refresh to reflect this exciting new season! We met in Baltimore’s Mt. Vernon and had so much fun exploring this historic part of town.

During her session, we had, what I’m pretty sure is the CRAZIEST thing that has ever had on a session, happen… while we were working together, we heard a super loud crash and then soon started smelling burning rubber. We weren’t sure if there was a hit and run, a car accident, or if a generator blew somewhere nearby… whichever way, we were definitely concerned. As we transitioned locations, we realized that there was actually a huge accident on the street near us, involving 3-4 vehicles + an 18 wheeler… we’re talking jaws of life, all the police cars, ambulances, first responders, helicopters… the works.

It was definitely one of those moments that made me stop to think about how fragile life is + reminded me to be a little more grateful for every day I have on this earth doing what I love with people that bring me joy. I haven’t been able to find an update on the person in the vehicle, but from what I know, there were not any fatalities involved.

All that being said, Sarah is literally THE best sport, so while we were highly concerned about the accident, we were still able to explore a few locations far from the action… and had a lot of fun celebrating her, her business, and this new season of life in the process!

Enjoy a few of my favorites from our time together!
