Y’all! This is my first time doing mini sessions in years, and I AM SO EXCITED! For the last couple of years, my fall availability has been a little crazy, and this year was no exception. I was feeling a little sad that I would be going another year without hosting mini’s when I looked down at my calendar and realized that I have the perfect window for minis coming up in just a few weeks! So without further ado… I’m SO pumped to share that family and pet minis will be in Patterson Park on Saturday, November 13, 2021!

One of the most common things I hear from families and couples when they book full sessions is: We want to include our pup in our session but we’re not sure how they would hold up for a full session. Well… now is the time, y’all! These quick 20-minutes sessions will move fast, and during that time, we’ll work our way through a variety of combos and poses with your pet! I love that these short sessions allow your pet to be involved in your photos without the stress of hoping they will be on their best behavior for an hour +.
As of now, this is the only round of family and pet minis I plan to do until this time next year. Mini sessions are open to families, couples, and individuals with or without pets! Let’s break down a little more of what you can expect.

FAQ
I don’t have a pet. Can our family still participate?
Absolutely! While I’m highly encouraging mini session participants to bring their pet, if you don’t have a pet and would like photos with the humans in your family, you are more than welcome to reserve a mini session slot!
What happens if it rains?
While I’m keeping my fingers and toes crossed we don’t need it, the current rain date is scheduled for Sunday, November 14, 2021. If there is greater than a 60% chance of rain during minis, we’ll utilize the rain date. Sessions will be scheduled for the same time on the rain date.
Where in Patterson Park will minis be held?
The park is beautiful but expansive! There are so many amazing views. I’m waiting to see what the fall colors do and what leaves drop first to make a final call. I’ll be dropping a pin to all mini session clients the week of minis but know that you can expect a pretty neutral park-like setting— think grass, leaves, and trees!
How do we reserve our date?
Click here to start the process! I’ll send you a contract and invoice for your session to make things official. Please note: sessions are considered officially reserved when your contract is signed and $50 non-refundable retainer is sent through. Your remaining balance will be due 1 week before your session.
How should we prepare for our session?
I’ll be sending a mini session prep guide to all clients upon reservation. This guide dives into styling your session, prepping your pet, prepping kiddos, and more!
When will we see our photos?
You’ll see a social media sneak peek within 48 hours. Your full gallery will be delivered within 3-4 weeks.
Will you be offering any kind of props or setup?
I want you, your family, and your pet to shine! For that reason, my setup for minis is minimal. I will have a small blanket for seated poses.
I don’t have a dog but would like to include my pet! Is that possible?
The safety of your pet is my top priority! If you have another animal you would love to include in your session, please make sure that they are accustomed to being outdoors in public places and have the ability to be tethered/leashed to you at all times. All pets are welcome as long as they will be safe!
