Engagement Session at the Liriodendron Mansion | Caitlyn and Tim

I have to give these two major props… they were in the middle of packing their lives up and moving down to sunny Florida, and STILL managed to look this good at their engagement session! I met Caitlyn and Tim for their engagement session at the Liriodendron Mansion last month, and I’m not sure if I’ve ever met a couple that loves to laugh quite like these two!

Caitlyn and Tim actually went together. While they were friends throughout school, they were dating other people and didn’t reconnect until after graduation. About a year after graduation, Caitlyn updated her Facebook to reflect where she worked and Tim saw. He happened to work at the same company! Tim reached out and they went to lunch a few times over the course of the next couple of months, and then Tim got a new job. Caitlyn and Tim started dating after that, and almost 5-years later, here they are!

Tim proposed to Caitlyn in early December 2022 in Ocean City, MD!

They were in town during Santacon weekend. They went to see the Festival of Lights to kick off the weekend, and after walking through all of the festive lights, they came upon a big, light up engagement ring at the end of the path. Tim pulled Caitlyn to the side and said the sweetest things as he asked her to be his wife. Caitlyn had previously joked that she would only say yes if he proposed with a blue raspberry ring pop, and sure enough, he got down on one knee, pulled out a blue raspberry ring pop that he had saved for the better part of a year before pulling out their REAL engagement ring. Not to spoil any surprises, but Caitlyn said YES!

The next day, Caitlyn was surprised with an engagement party with her parents and many friends that she hadn’t seen in a while to celebrate. She was so incredibly surprised and says that it was the best weekend EVER!

Fast forward a few months, and these two are dressed up in their finest for their engagement session at the Liriodendron Mansion!

These two greeted me with their sweet pup, Griffin, and right off the bat, I knew we were going to have a BLAST! Griffin was absolutely adorable (And like if you need new adorable puppy spam for your Instagram… just click here for his IG!), and Caitlyn and Tim were so ready to celebrate their engagement with some gorgeous photos. These two love to laugh and are as gorgeous as they are sweet. You are going to be obsessed with Caitlyn’s white dress with an oversized bow detail on the back… it is THE perfect dress for engagement photos! We explored Liriodendron Mansion’s property from top to bottom and had SO much fun creating gorgeous images together! Keep on scrolling to see ALL the pretty we created together!
