It’s no shocker that I believe your furry family members are just as important as those who are human! Incorporating pets into your wedding, engagement, and portrait photography is something that I support wholeheartedly! A few months back, I had the honor of photographing a special milestone for Lindsey and her hilarious English bulldog, Molly, in the stunning Federal Hill Park in Baltimore, MD.
Today, I’m so excited to share a walkthrough of their Baltimore Pet Portrait mini session, but before, a quick recap because our time together was SO special!
Molly JUST turned 13, and to celebrate such a sweet milestone we got together back in the spring in Federal Hill to take some sweet pet portraits!
While Molly didn’t appreciate the shuffle up the hill (If you know, you know!), when we got to the top of the park, the views were so worth it! With gorgeous sweeping views of the Baltimore City skyline, we were able to park in one spot for the entirety of their mini-session! Not only was it stunning, but it made things so easy and efficient!
I know Lindsey from where we both teach at Bar Method, but I had only met Molly for the first time during our session! From what I had heard about her, I knew I was in for a treat!
During Lindsey and Molly’s session, it was as hilarious as it was sweet to see to see the antics between Lindsey and Molly. Molly’s begrudging willingness to do anything for a treat made us all laugh and she really brought all of her sass and personality to shine in front of the camera.
For being so small, she really does have the biggest personality! It was so much fun to meet her and to photograph her with one of her favorite humans!
Celebrating Older Pets with Mini Sessions
Over the last couple of years, my portrait offerings have evolved. I understand the significance of capturing precious moments with older pets which is why I have begun to offer mini-portrait sessions that are tailored for both people and pets in Baltimore, Maryland. These sessions are short, sweet, and are especially perfect for those furry companions who have been with their owners for many years. I love that these sessions allow for me to capture the unique bond and personality of you with your senior pets, preserving your memories together for a lifetime.
