Oh my goodness, this family is just so special to me! I met Abby and Nick a few years ago through my cousin, and once they found out they were expecting their sweet baby girl, Baby K., I had the sweet opportunity of photographing their maternity and newborn photos!

As a photographer, there’s nothing quite like witnessing the growth of a family and capturing their precious moments. Abby and Nick had reached out to me again for an updated family session back in the fall, with their adorable six-month-old daughter (Who is now just about one year old!!), Baby K. We decided to meet at the picturesque Oregon Ridge Park near Hunt Valley, MD.

We met back in the fall as the leaves just began to change in Oregon Ridge Park, a park that this crew loves to visit as a family!

We toured the trails, looking for some of the best fall foliage before stumbling upon the most stunning view of the pond in the park! Oregon Ridge Park is a true gem nestled in the beautiful landscape of Maryland. Known for its scenic trails and breathtaking views, it provided the perfect backdrop for this family session. As we ventured through the park, the vibrant hues of autumn greeted us at every turn!

Throughout our time together, we got so many family photos with everyone together, Mom and Dad on their own with baby girl, and just Baby K on her own! It was so sweet to see just how much she had grown in 6-months! Now, she is just about ONE year old which is just the craziest thing to me.

Documenting Abby and Nick’s journey as new parents has been an incredible joy.

From the anticipation of Baby K’s arrival to capturing her first sleepy days and milestones, it’s been a joy to witness their love and dedication. As we met again for their updated family session, it was apparent that their bond had only grown stronger. Their genuine love and affection for one another, combined with Baby K’s infectious giggles, created an atmosphere of pure happiness and warmth.

As this crew preps to celebrate this milestone with their sweet girl, enjoy a scroll through our beautiful fall afternoon together, touring through Oregon Ridge Park.
