Hi there, friend! If you found your way here through Google, congratulations on your graduation! 🎓 While I’ve absolutely loved working with grads over the years, but I’ve officially retired from the grad photography world and am no longer booking grad/senior sessions.
It’s been such an honor to celebrate alongside so many incredible students as they’ve closed out one chapter and stepped into the next. Wishing you all the best as you celebrate earning your degree and move into whatever comes next— you’ve got this!
Being a part of someone’s life journey is truly an honor. Whether it’s capturing their Baltimore maternity photos or celebrating their academic accomplishments, each opportunity is so special to be part of! Now… if you’re wondering why I just combined maternity photos and academic accomplishments when the two should be completely unrelated, allow me to explain!
This session was actually a two-part session designed to celebrate Cecilia and Robert, and their journey into parenthood… AND Cecilia’s upcoming graduation! (Because… why not celebrate all the things all at once?!)
Cecilia and Robert’s love story began in the Marines.
They found each other amidst the rigors of military life, fell in love, and decided to tie the knot. Now, they are on the cusp of a new chapter – parenthood. Their first child is due to arrive in May, coinciding with another significant event in their lives: the completion of Cecilia’s degree!
Anticipating the arrival of their first child, Cecilia and Robert decided to celebrate this significant milestone with a series of Baltimore maternity photos.
We began their maternity shoot at Rawlings Conservatory. This stunning location, reminiscent of a lush greenhouse, provided the perfect backdrop for their maternity photos.
Rawlings Conservatory, a botanical wonderland filled with lush greenery and vibrant florals, was the chosen location for the first part of their session. The warm temperatures and the abundance of nature provided a serene setting, a stark contrast to the chilly winter weather in Maryland!
As we moved from celebrating their impending parenthood, the focus shifted to Cecilia’s academic journey.
Returning to school after serving in the Marines, Cecilia was pursuing her Interdisciplinary degree in Biology/Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences at Loyola Maryland. This part of the session aimed to highlight her hard work and dedication!
On campus at Loyola Maryland, we took a series of photographs celebrating Cecilia’s academic journey. The goal was not to hide her pregnancy but to shift the focus to her accomplishments. After all, it was all of her hard work and determination that earned her the degree.
With the end of the semester and the arrival of their little one happening in May, Cecilia and Robert have a lot to celebrate! These two life-altering events happening simultaneously is truly a reason for double joy.
