Anna and Chris | A Beachy Engagement Session in Lewes, Delaware

I have been SO excited about sharing Sweet Anna and Chris’s engagement session with you for weeks now, and today is the day that you get a sneak peek at some of the sweetness from their session! Truthfully, the last couple of weeks have been CRAZY! Promptness in my image delivery timeline has taken precedence over the blog, so while the blog may have been a little quieter than you’re used to, I’ve been hustling hard behind the scenes and have so many gorgeous engagement sessions, headshot/branding sessions, and family sessions to share with you! They’re coming soon, and today, you get to meet sweet Anna and Chris!

I just love these two! I actually met Anna at Flywheel, where we bonded over the giant hill we both lived on at the time and the fact that we were basically next-door neighbors! When she reached out to me a few years later to let me know that she was ENGAGED and wanted to chat about working together for her wedding, I was beyond excited! I was anxious to meet the guy that makes Anna so happy, and after being with these two for just a moment, I could see that they are a match that is just meant to be. These two are so sweet together. Just wait until you hear what they love the most about each other (I’m a puddle over here!).

From Anna:

“Chris goes above and beyond for the ones that he loves, and I am lucky enough to be the one he chose to go through life with. He always puts down what he is doing to make time for me. Whether that’s to make me smile when I’m sad, give me a hug/kiss when I need comfort, or pour me a glass of wine at the perfect moment, he is always there for me. He has an enormous heart, and his positive energy is contagious, always making me strive to be the best version of myself. He is the most fun everything partner and I am so beyond excited to become his wife.”

From Chris:

Anna and Chris met randomly at a Halloween party while Anna was in grad school, and their proposal story may just take the prize for most impressive engagement EVER! While these two were in Paris back in April, Chris popped the question right in front of the Eifel Tower with a lock and key that was engraved with his proposal!! For their engagement session, it was so important to these two that they included a location that means so much to them as people and as a couple: coastal Delaware! This was my very first time in what I’ve come to call “Beachy Delaware,” and all I have to say is: I need to go back! It was GOOORGEOUS! We met for one incredible sunset session, and y’all, I can’t wait for you to get a sneak peek!

Loooove this dreamy golden hour light! Lewes is SO cute! GAH that RING!! These two brought the cork from their post-proposal celebratory bottle of champagne! Soo sweet! Now off to the beach! *Not pictured: The spiky burr balls that got stuck to our feet & clothes! These two are so sweet together! We may or may not have taken that one on the right while surrounded by a crowd of 25 people watching the sunset! One of my favorites!!!
