Anna and Chris have been waiting so patiently for their wedding day. Originally supposed to tie the knot in August of 2020, they delayed their day for a few months because of the pandemic. Fast forward to their June wedding day at Chesapeake Bay Beach Club, and the day we had was pretty much near perfect! We had gorgeous bay breezes, plenty of sunshine, so many happy tears, and even got some gorgeous colors in the sky at sunset. In short? It was a DREAM! Anna and Chris surround themselves with some of the best kinds of people. Their wedding party was kind, helpful, and so much fun… their families were beyond excited to see these two become husband and wife… and their guests were ready to CELEBRATE these two and the official start to a new chapter in their lives. These people made their already amazing day, extra special!
I’ve known Anna since our time working at the same gym in DC, and was incredibly honored when she reached out and asked if I would want to photograph her wedding day. I couldn’t say yes fast enough! Anna is one of those people that just makes you feel at ease… she can make friends with anyone, is incredibly organized, and has a heart of gold. Fast forward to meeting her guy, Chris, at their engagement session on the shores of Delaware, and I soon learned that she surrounds herself with people much like herself! Chris is kind, caring, and has the most genuine heart. Together, these two make the best kind of power couple— as intuitive and kind as they are organized and motivated to make the world a better place.
I knew I was in for a treat of a day when I walked into Anna’s suite and found her bridal details perfectly organized in the entryway. These two had EVERY detail covered! From there, the day just got sweeter. All of their hard work to prep for this day really paid off— we ran on time, had so much fun along the way, and even got to sneak in some extra portrait time! I don’t think anyone will ever forget how sweet their personally written vows were. Their emotional first look before their ceremony AND during their ceremony were both extra special, and I really loved how they incorporated so many meaningful personal touches into their day to help pay tribute to those closest to them. Now, these two are off enjoying paradise on their honeymoon! Much deserved after the stress of planning not one but TWO wedding dates!
