I’ve known Molly since college, so when she asked me to play a part in her wedding day, I was beyond honored! I have been SO excited about Molly and Kyle’s day for such a long time, and it did not disappoint! I could not think of two people that balance each other out better than Molly and Kyle. They were SO excited to officially be husband and wife, and WOW I don’t think I have the words to express how wonderful their day was!

I have been looking forward to Carolina & Brandon’s day for a long, long time. From the moment we met on Skype, I could tell that these two were most definitely the kindest and most genuine people I’ve ever met. When Carolina showed up to their engagement session with gluten free muffins and a house plant in hand… well, that was confirmed!

Ahh you guys this week has been BUSY but absolutely incredible! I’m coming off of my first experience at The Gathering–a mini conference and workshop put on by Hope Taylor & Caroline Logan! I spent all Wednesday afternoon, learning and being inspired alongside about 100 other baby boss ladies! It was SO amazing to know that I’m not alone on this crazy journey! Read more about my experience here!! Any who… I am gearing up for not just one but TWO beautiful weddings this weekend! I’m off to Fairfax, VA and then Bethlehem, PA to photograph two weddings for two amazing couples! I am SO excited to spend my weekend celebrating with their families!

Full disclosure before we get the party started with this post: it is going to get real personal real fast.Have you ever had one of those rough weeks where you are hard on yourself… about everything? Where you feel intimidated and unworthy and just all around icky about life? I’ve been in that place recently, and oh my goodness am I feeling refreshed after last night. I am so, so thankful.

Do you remember Anna and Darian from a few months ago?! We met at the Jefferson and had a GORGEOUS morning session! Well… recently, Savannah, Anna, Darian & I all headed up to our alma mater for Anna & Darian’s second engagement session. We’re all really big Penn Staters, so naturally… we HAD to do a session on campus! Enjoy a preview of their beautiful Penn State Arboretum Session!

I’m doing a little happy dance because we made it through a FULL work week and are going right on into the weekend! I don’t know about you, but the holiday last week really threw me off! It was so nice to have a long week to dive into work and to get some BIG things done! Now, I’m off to an anniversary session with one of my best friends, and then, we’re off to shoot a wedding together in PA the next day! AHH this weekend is going to be a good one! Now… on to the topic at hand: choosing your wedding photographer!!

Happy Friday, fam!!! Anyone else feeling like they need a weekend after the holiday week?! I’m heading into a Saturday engagement session (in one of my favorite places–Penn State!!) and a day off!! It is the time of year where I am starting to schedule engagement sessions for my 2019 clients, and it got me thinking that it would be great to do a quick post to detail the perfect way to time your engagement session!

I feel so lucky to have the opportunity to do what I do each and every day. My clients trust me to capture some of the sweetest and most cherished seasons of their lives, and it sure isn’t something that I take on lightly. When Jeana reached out about having me capturing an in-home family session, just after they were set to bring home a new bundle of joy, I actually teared up a little bit at my desk. What an honor it was to play a tiny part in capturing this very special season in this sweet family’s life.

We made it to FRDIAY, y’all! I’m gearing up to second shoot a wedding tomorrow, am working with a sweet family on Sunday & get to head to my favorite beach spot for one whole day of vacation! PHEW busy season is here, but I am SO excited to get out of town (even if it is just for a day!!) Today’s post is all about your floral delivery!! If you know me well, you know that I absolutely love, love, love my school! I graduated from Penn State, and any time I can get back there is welcomed with open arms! So, when Maddie & Mike reached out to me about photographing their Penn State wedding, I pretty much had my car packed the second we got off the phone! Wow… what an honor it was to spend the day beside these two and their families!
