Happy Friday, friends! We’re back with another Wandering the District recap for you today! (If you want to join us this soon, click here!)
This Wandering the District felt extra special to me because this is a part of town that I walk through so frequently! It was really fun to take it on with a camera in hand because I’ve never done that before… Dupont is one of my favorite parts of town, and you can often find me strolling the residential streets & admiring super cute houses and gardens. With camera in hand, I felt so much more aware of how unique this part of town really is, and that was so special!
Our group for June was small but mighty, and it was great to take on photographing town with friends! We met in Dupont Circle and ventured out from there! We wandered the side streets that feel a bit more residential and the crazy busy streets too! There are about a million and one amazing restaurants and bars in Dupont, so the decision for where we would wrap our adventure up was a tough one! We ended up stopping for pizza and wine which was the perfect way to round out our evening.
It may have been a super hot summer night, but we had a lot of fun! Enjoy a peek into our adventure!!
How cute are the front of these homes?! I felt like I was in Europe! Forever pretending like I own Kramerbooks 😉One of these days, I need to stop in for a bite to eat! If I had a quarter for every morning I’ve spent working from this Starbucks, I could probably pay for a month’s worth of green tea! After walking through the heat for a while, we decided to stop in Pizzeria Paradiso for a glass of wine during happy hour. After stepping inside and smelling their amazing pizza, you can bet that we each ended up with a pie too! Gluten-free margarita pizza for me 😍 Remembered to grab a quick selfie just before our dinner came! Shoutout to this crew for a fun afternoon!
