Oh, I just love these two so much! Elizabeth and Mike came in for their engagement session on Friday, all the way from NYC (what an honor!!!), and we had the best time hanging out in Old Town Alexandria!
They are two of the most down to earth people. They’re the kind of people that think about others first and that never ever stop laughing. Elizabeth is an artist (you have to see her stunning paintings!!!) and Mike is a comedian. They call NYC home with their sweet guinea pig, and let me tell you… they kept me smiling from ear to ear during their entire session! I’m so thankful… I get to see them in just about a MONTH for their winter wedding celebration in Fredericksburg! If their wedding is even HALF as fun as their engagement session was, I know that we are all in for a huge treat! The joy they share as a couple is truly admirable, and it is such a pleasure to have the opportunity to photograph them during this sweet season of their story.
Before you get to see how fun these two are though, I also have to give Elizabeth a quick shoutout…. she has to be one of THE most prompt and responsive brides that I have ever worked with! You can tell that she is so excited for this wedding day to go off without a hitch, and as a photographer, I can’t tell you how much that means to me. Planning well ahead of time makes for a better party on the day of (because all of the hard work is done!!!). I love that Elizabeth has taken this to heart, and I know that the day she has been planning with Happy to Be Events will be one for the books!
We toured town and dodged rain clouds all morning long! Thankfully, the showers held off until just AFTER we parted ways! Enjoy a few of my favorites from our morning together!
