Can you even believe it?! I’ve FINALLY made it through the 2023 session queue… welcome to a New Year on the blog! 2024 began in the sweetest way with the W. Family gracing Federal Hill for their first-ever family portrait session as a crew of four. I met with Lilly and Dan, proud parents of two adorable children, on a chilly February day, their joy palpable and infectious.
In the early days of December, the W. Family welcomed a new member—a sweet baby girl. To celebrate the occasion, they scheduled time with me for some Federal Hill family photos!
Baby girl’s arrival officially made them a family of four, and to commemorate the occasion, they scheduled a photo session to document such a beautiful season! We met up in Federal Hill Park, somewhere we all often visit!
The W. Family’s first-born, an adorable and energetic 2-year-old with contagious enthusiasm, was a delight to photograph. He was more than eager to explore the park, his infectious energy adding much fun to the session. His little sister, a 2-month-old bundle of joy, was equally enchanting.
As a frequent visitor to Federal Hill Park with my pup, it was a pleasure to share those familiar views with a new family. The park’s iconic Baltimore views provided the perfect backdrop for our session.
We kicked off their Federal Hill family photos with relaxed portraits on the grassy expanse of the park. Baby girl was along for the ride while big brother was ready to RUN. As the sun began to set, we moved to the overlook to capture the stunning cityscape views during the golden hour.
Despite the February chill, the kiddos were absolute sweethearts.
Their sweetness and enthusiasm in front of the camera were commendable, making this family session a smooth and enjoyable experience for all!
Working with the W. Family, especially a few months after their newest addition, was oh so special. Their love for each other was evident in every frame, making this session a memorable one and the perfect way to kick off my 2024 portrait season!
