It’s not often that I blog an engagement session AFTER a wedding day (it’s only happened once before!), but I’ve been sitting on these photos for a while now and figured that it would be the perfect time to press publish on Elise and Ben’s Kennedy Center engagement photos! In the season that I’m currently in, I am placing a huge priority on image delivery timelines. Wedding blogs are part of my image delivery timeline (More on my wedding workflow another time!) while engagement session blog posts are not part of the image delivery timeline.

While I’ve gotten a little behind on blogging engagement sessions, I’m so excited to share these cuties with you today!

I met Elise and Ben in DC at sunrise for their Kennedy Center engagement photos. DANG we had such a beautiful morning!

Elise and Ben are the best kind of people— they are warm, genuine, and so incredibly thoughtful. They originally met on Bumble and were engaged on the waterfront in DC a few years later. They officially said I Do Memorial Day weekend, surrounded by so many of their favorite people from near and far!

When asked, Ben says he loves Elise’s intelligence, ambition, kindness to others and her love for her family. Elise says she loves everything about Ben— he is her missing puzzle piece! She loves Ben’s heart, his ambition, and kindness (can you see a theme here with these two?!). He keeps her smiling and laughing, and together, they can do anything!

The love that Elise and Ben share is so incredibly sweet and so very real. I cannot wait to see what married life brings for them!
