What do you get when you have two of the sweetest people in love at a gorgeous manor home in the heart of the Virginia countryside?! MAGIC… that’s what ya get!
Lindsey and Russ met when they were BABIES… yes, they’ve known each other basically their entire lives! They grew up spending summers together on their dad’s boats and visiting Ocean City, MD. Summer days were spent together, getting into trouble for playing elevator tag or dropping bouncy balls off one of the highest floors of the Carousel Hotel in Ocean City, MD! They used to go ice skating at the rink in the hotel and, later, were engaged in the same spot on Valentine’s Day! (Lindsey says she knew it was coming but was surprised in the moment— so sweet!) I just love how they have a thread of fun woven through their entire relationship story, made even sweeter by purposefully incorporating spots and dates that mean so much to them as a couple. They have a love built on the strongest foundation of friendship, trust, and fun… and you can truly see that when spending time with them as a couple! They are sweet and caring and so incredibly kind… the kind of couple that are just so easy to be around!
Russ loves how much Lindsey balances him and her sense of humor… she’s his lobster! Lindsey loves his smile and how caring he is. He can be goofy and always knows how to make her laugh… she loves taking adventures with him!
We were hoping for a cool fall day for their engagement session but actually got a warm, humid, evening… thanks for that, Mother Nature! These two were total champs though, exploring and twirling and enjoying every moment together! It was an absolute dream to have Lindsey and Russ in front of my camera at Great Marsh Estate and has me counting down the days ’til their 2022 wedding day… which also happens to fall on Valentine’s Day! (Talk about romantic!) Ready to see some of my favorite frames from our time together?!
