I’ll always remember flashes of the brilliant spring day I flipped my tassel, received my diploma, and walked across that Penn State stage and into the next chapter of my life. But in all the excitement, so much of it flew by in a blur. It’s unreal how swiftly the vibrancy of life’s biggest accomplishments dulls in the busyness of daily life. But thanks to the photos I’ve captured along the way, I can easily step back in time to experience them all over again! Taking photos of my friends as they popped champagne and twirled in their graduation gowns was as rewarding as accepting my diploma!

In fact, I loved it so much that I turned it into a career! Today, I'm a graduation photographer in Baltimore, MD! I visit campuses across Maryland, D.C., and beyond to preserve the sweet final days before you step out of school and into “the real world.”

Whether you’re accepting your first diploma or your third, fourth, or even fifth, I’d love to tell your story. This moment is too special—and you’ve worked way too hard— to let it slip by undocumented. So, get dressed up, and let’s pop some bubbly as we celebrate everything you’ve achieved and everything still to come!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

FAQ

No. 1

I recommend booking around three months before your desired session date. My calendar fills fast during spring grad season, so the sooner you reach out to book, the better!

No. 2

The best grad sessions include one to three grads. This allows plenty of time for those fun-filled group shots, as well as the individual portraits. However, if you have more than two best friends you can’t wait to include in your session, let me know! I’d be happy to help create a custom package for you.

No. 3

Absolutely! It wouldn’t be a grad session without your cap and gown, so don’t forget to bring them along! If you’d like to include a bottle of champagne or other props, they can make your session even more unique. However, to avoid making a mess for all the other grads, we will only do champagne pops in select locations. And I would recommend avoiding things like glitter or confetti, as we’ll need to clean up behind ourselves before we leave.

No. 4

I know how busy the lead-up to graduation gets, so I want to take as much of the planning burden off your shoulders as I possibly can. However, your input on locations is vital since you know your campus far better than I do, and we’ll want to pick the locations that mean the most!

No. 5

I love sessions at Lincoln and the Reflecting Pool, but they require a little extra planning. For these sessions, I’ll apply for a permit (one location is included in my DC session fees) about three weeks in advance. And for the best lighting and fewer tourists, we’ll hit the Mall at sunrise.

She provides a warm and welcoming environment that makes for an easy and effortless photography session.
Her energy is positive and will make you so comfortable during grad pics. Highly recommend!

She really brought out the aspects that I like most about myself.  Listen to Cait and go for the sunrise photo session! The light was so pretty and there was no one in sight!

Cait made me feel like we’d been friends for years!

kirsten r.

Caity knows exactly how to highlight your favorite things about yourself, inside and out. She knows how to make you feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera, the entire experience is so much fun!

I felt so comfortable during my session and it was such a blast!
