Bringing you another gorgeous venue tour today, friends! I had the pleasure of visiting Shadow Creek Weddings and Events last Wednesday, and oh my goodness… it was such a treat! I’ve been dying to get back to this venue since I second shot there during the summer of 2018, and all I have to say is WOW!!!
Shadow Creek is beautiful in so many ways, but I think what makes it truly special is that when you are there, you are family, whether you are a client, vendor or guest… you are welcomed. I arrived on Wednesday, and right away, Lori (one of Shadow Creek’s owners) invited me to sit down in a chair outside, chat and enjoy the views. She asked me about myself and my business, and I got to ask her a few questions too. I learned that her family opened up Shadow Creek on their family property, just over five years ago after planning Lori’s daughter’s wedding. There wasn’t a venue in the area that could accommodate her desired guest list of around 300 people. After joking about building a venue… they did it, and I am so glad that they did. Shadow Creek is stunning. They take SO much pride in their space. It is immaculate with sweet little displays and convenient places to relax set up throughout the entire venue. To see the love, the care and the thought that they put into this amazing space each day is truly inspiring.
Shadow Creek has a few ceremony locations, each just as beautiful as the option before! The indoor space is climate controlled, offering cool AC in the summer and heat in the winter. The indoor barn space features high exposed beam ceilings and has so many windows! It feels so chic, bright, airy and welcoming all at once. It would be the perfect place to host a rustic yet elegant inspired wedding. Not only is this place just plain beautiful, it is one of those places that feels so incredibly peaceful. The views are stunning, you can see SO much of the sky, and there are so many intentionally designed spaces to accommodate both you and your guests. I absolutely loved touring the property and hope to visit again soon!

One thing that is REALLY cool about the covered porch/cocktail hour space is that in the warmer months, it is a beautiful covered porch! In the colder months, Shadow Creek brings in industrial propane heaters and encloses the space with glass, creating a greenhouse-like space where you and your guests can be outside, enjoying drinks but totally warm! 
This was new from the last time I was at Shadow Creek! I love this covered firepit! There is also plenty of space for lawn games!

If a wedding day is rainy, the covered outside porch can accommodate many wedding ceremonies! There is also an option to have your ceremony inside!
Those views though… I could sit and look that view forever!
I ventured inside to tour the bridal suite! They thought of EVERYTHING! One of the things that I realize so many bridal spaces lack is: Mirrors & Outlets… not to fear! Shadow Creek has plenty of both! There is also another getting ready space on the other side of the barn, meaning you can keep both sides of the wedding party separate before the ceremony! (But both sides can get ready on the property!)

To say that this space is beautiful when it has come to life for a wedding is a HUGE understatement! Talk about GORGEOUS!!
